Can’t the Historic Sites Fund the Renovation Costs?

Non-Profit Finances: Bingham and the Vaile

This analysis assesses the financial capacity of the Bingham Waggoner and Vaile Mansion non-profits to fund capital projects.

The financial information comes from publicly available IRS Form 990 which 501(c)3 non-profits file annually.

The chart shows Total Revenue, Total Expenses, Net Income and Fund Balance reported on the form.

Estimates for capital improvements/deferred maintenance from the General Obligation amounts were added. These estimates were then divided by the average annual income to calculate the numbers of years it would take to fund the current estimates. This does not take into account maintenance needs in future years.

Financial spreadsheet showing revenue, expenses, net income, assets, estimated repairs, and years to fund for Bingham Waggoner Estate, Vaile Mansion, and combined totals from 2021 to 2025.
